Biography

Ethan is a psycholinguist. He received both cognitive science and linguistics training throughout his education. He is interested in understanding the dynamic relationship in everyday language experiences and how language users adapt and learn from each other. Ethan’s research is grounded in the perceptual and social experiences of linguistically varied contexts. He uses a variety of psycholinguistic and electrophysiological tools to explore the crossroads of language, cognition, and the environment. Outside of research and teaching, Ethan serves as an Associate Editor for Scientific Reports and Applied Psycholinguistics. He is also an editorial board member for the Canadian Journal of Experimental Psychology.
